All external appointments to the Trust will be required to attend a full Trust Corporate Induction which will be held at Carew House, Beacon Technology Park, Dunmere Road, Bodmin, PL31 2QN.

The induction programme is for all new staff and the length is dependent on the role you will be undertaking. It is an essential part of new staff training requirements and therefore attendance is mandatory.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join us, to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Community Teams based at Truro Health Park.

The successful applicant will be flexible, organised and be able to work autonomously and effectively to prioritise own workload and comply with set timescales.

The key element of this role is supporting the nursing team administratively. Training will be provided for the necessary electronic systems. You will liaise with staff and patients and a range of agencies and will have an excellent telephone manner and ability to maintain composure when dealing with challenging situations.

Previous experience working within the NHS healthcare setting is desirable.

This is a full time position 37.5 hours per week worked Monday to Friday.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
