The induction programme is for all new staff and the length is dependent on the role you will be undertaking. It is an essential part of new staff training requirements and therefore attendance is mandatory.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person to work with Dr Rohit Shankar, and the research team to drive forward and further develop an evidenced based understanding of the organizational functionality of the ‘Cornwall model’ across Learning Disabilty (LD) services.

The applicant should be able to demonstrate ability in: research methodology, grant responsibility, data collection and analyse, as well as writing up papers for international conferences and peer reviewed journals. The position will require excellent communication and organisational skills ensuring the safe conduct of the research project in accordance to the regulatory and legal frameworks. This unique and exciting project aims to make an important contribution to LD services across organisations and would therefore suit candidates wishing to make a positive contribution to service development.

The team is multidisciplinary and applicants are invited from any professional background. Location can be negotiated as the Research team is a county wide service
