All external appointments to the Trust will be required to attend a full Trust Corporate Induction which will be held at Carew House, Beacon Technology Park, Dunmere Road, Bodmin, PL31 2QN.

The induction programme is for all new staff and the length is dependent on the role you will be undertaking. It is an essential part of new staff training requirements and therefore attendance is mandatory.

We are looking to recruit staff to work as part of the GSA team at Bellair Health Office and the Court House, Penzance. You will need to be well organised and passionate about cleaning, flexible and with a good standard of education and the ability to learn quickly, to undertake the General Services duties in our busy Health Office. The main duties include domestic cleaning and following policies, procedures and legislations and to carry out other duties as required meeting the demands of the service. Previous experience in a similar service is essential; training and support will be given to the successful applicant.

This is a part time post working 18.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, covering daytime and evenings.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
