Residential Short Break Respite Home.
Children’s Services are looking to recruit to our Nursing Team at Layland. Layland is a four bedded home which provides short breaks for children with a learning disability and complex health needs. This post will include days, weekend and night work.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract, full time post and will be primarily based in Layland, although the post holder may be required to work at the other short break site on occasion. We are looking for a qualified Children’s Nurse or Learning disability nurse with very good physical health skills, to work with us. Experience of working with Children with disabilities and health needs is essential, but support, supervision, training and teamwork will be provided
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
