The induction programme is for all new staff and the length is dependent on the role you will be undertaking. It is an essential part of new staff training requirements and therefore attendance is mandatory.

An opportunity has arisen to join our new and exciting Physiotherapy Rotational Scheme in North Cornwall. The six month rotation will include a range of experience in our dynamic and forwarding thinking Therapy Teams across North Cornwall and in Bodmin Hospital. These include Inpatient, Community Rehabilitation, Intermediate Care, MSK and Mental Health. This post will work closely with Senior Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Nursing colleagues. It will involve inreach/outreach work from the hospital to the community. The inpatients rotation will involve some elements of 7 day working. This is a unique opportunity to allow integration of Adult Community Services and Mental Health. We are seeking innovative pre and post registration physiotherapists who will relish this creative approach and career development within Cornwall.
Students who are due to qualify and are awaiting HCPC registration are welcome to apply for this post and would start at Band 4 while awaiting registration.
Structured supervision and opportunities to participate in the established in-service training programme and support for continued professional development will be provided.
This is a full time post working 37.5 hours per week.
Successful candidates will be invited to an Assessment Day on Saturday 19th May 2018, 08:45am - 12:45pm at Liskeard Hospital. This will include a formal interview and group task
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
